One conversation stays at the top of Messages on iphone

I to had this issue for ages, I read a thread that suggested to delete the contact & remassage them after deleting, all it was, was a simply as edit>unpin the message. As pinned messages stay at top in circle & DONT appear in list with all other messages should.

simply go messages, edit, unpin that message & it removes it from circle at top & rejoins it to message list alongside all other messages.

maybe something that got easily pinned from being in pocket & screen wasn’t locked or by accident somehow.

ive unpinned it, & problem solved.

Have you tried restarting your phone, if not try to unpin the conversation

I too, have just learned about pinning & unpin messages in edit feature
