Apple TV+ 1 year free activation

Hi! I have a problem activating my 1 year free Apple TV+ after purchasing my new MacBook Pro. I kinda forgot to do it right off the bat.

Thankfully I got a prompt in my phone settings last evening, but since I was not at home I ignored it for the time being. Today when I started my device up to claim the one year free TV, I was only presented with a 1 week long offer. I have no place to change it to one year, even after checking eligibility from the apple website, it just brings up the app, and showing the one week option.

I did choose the one week free option, activated it, cancelled the recurring part of it, so maybe I can get the 1 year offer, but no, and since now I have a week of tv+ I don't get any offers at all.

According to my notification that happened on my phone, I have 3 days to claim my offer if I want to use it.

I would like to activate the free year of the Apple TV+, thank you for your help in advance.
