What is the best alternative to Adobe Flash Player to use on my MacBook when support for it ceases

There is no alternative to Adobe Flash. Many websites are moving towards the new HTML5 format which requires no plugins to use.

Lots of flash sites in archive.org that are now useless as flash is DOA
