How do I get new Ipad to stop asking me to setup a passcode?

I don't want a passcode on my Ipad. It keeps saying 'Finish setting up your ipad' and keeps prompting me to setup a passcode. How do I turn that off?

iPad mini, iOS 12

Thanks. I was able to do it by clicking on the notification that said, basically, 'Set up Passcode now.' Once in that screen, there was a selection at the very bottom to select 'Don't use passcode'. Now the notification is permanently off - I hope.

Ah, that certainly makes sense.

First had to look to see if it could be done. On my iPhone 6s with iOS 14, it's in Settings >Touch ID & Passcode. Once there, tap on Turn Passcode Off.

Since I already have a passcode on my phone, I had to enter it before iOS would even let me at this setting. Not sure what it will do on a device that doesn't have one yet.
