Im trying to take my phone back to factory settings, my text messaging not working

iPhone 12 doesn’t get all text messages Brand new phone and half of the text message I get don’t come to my phone. I had to install a third party messaging app just to make sure I get all my messages. Apple support deleted my first post and won’t help me over the phone.
