Mouse pointer misaligned

Hi there. After updating system on my mac to the latest 11.0.1 the mouse pointer is somehow shifted, so when I click, it activates a different part of a screen. Affects built in track pad and external mouse. The only way to workaround (or kludge) is to turn the magnification on. I have seen posting on other fora with same problems affecting MacBooks.

Hi krzysztof.,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like your pointer isn't working with an external or built in trackpad after the Big Sur update.

Testing with the external mouse was a great step. What happens inside a new user account? Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Let us know further details.

Have a fantastic day!
