I recently noticed a Malwarebytes icon at the top of my MAC screen.

I recently noticed a Malwarebytes icon at the top of my MAC computer screen. My computer is 10 years old and I don't ever recall seeing this malware software before. I haven't opened the app of started a scan of my computer with it because I am afraid it may be something malicious.

I ran Entrcheck and Malwarebytes did show up as antivirus software along with Apple.

I'd appreciate any information about this and what I should do with it. Thanks
