I am migrating from older iPhone to new 12 model
the old phone contains dozens of albums I created. These wont backup / copy to iCloud
Why?
iPhone 5c, iOS 9
Are these music albums? If so, iCloud doesn't back those up - What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support.

this issue resolved itself. Not sure how or why.....Apple cloud settings are picky picky

I wish I knew why!?!
Who knows....just a hiccup.
Then if you cannot backup that data on the iPhone 8 - If you can't back up to iCloud or restore from iCloud backup failed - Apple Support.
My Alubums wont backup / copy to icloud.
