Why I can't connect to VPN server after BigSur installation? I use L2TP before and it works fine.

I am still using VPN L2TP, no differences from Catalina. Just created again the connexion.
Works for me. Using TigerVPN with L2TP 🥺 Maybe removing entries, restarting the Mac and adding it back might solve it?
Well, it seems a lot is changed on the network layer.
I use VPN-Tracker to connect to our secure environments, which is supported by the new versions recently released.
HOWEVER... related to the VMWare-Fusion network stack, the VPN order is changed!
This means that in my case, virtual machines need their own VPN connection in stead of using the VPN from the macOS.
My university alumni VPN uses the built-in Cisco VPN in macOS Network preferences to connect to the university's VPN server, and this has continued to work in Big Sur by simply double-clicking the provided configuration file, and supplying the VPN password.
Works reliably, as it has since Mountain Lion.
Problem solved - changed settings in VPN server.
