startup disk is no longer available

The disk of my Mac mini was cleaned incidentally when I tried to install a new mac OS Big Sur.

I wanted to clean all information I don’t need but I cleaned all in general.

A folder with a flashing question mark appears when I switch on my computer.

So, startup disk is no longer available. I cannot reset NVRAM. No reaction on pressing and hold button “command” and R or any other buttons.

What should I do? Can I start my mac mini with startup disk in USB flash drive? If yes where can get a startup disk?

Hey there, amayler!

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities! We understand your Mac mini is not able to startup correctly. Heres a few articles to further assist you:

How to reinstall macOS

First make sure to hold down Command + R until you see the Apple Logo or a loading bar. If your Mac mini does not respond at all even while holding those buttons down please turn off your Mac mini and turn it back on holding down Option + Command + R till you see a spinning globe. If that does not respond or help then follow this next article:
