Change login screen wallpaper in Big Sur

Has anyone been able to find a way to change the login screen wallpaper in Big Sur? I have tried a bunch of different methods but something must have changed in Big Sur.

To clarify this is the screen you see before logging into your user account, it currently shows that ugly Big Sur default wallpaper.

Sadly, Apple forces you to like whatever color scheme of the day they wish to impose on you. For elderly people, these unwanted and unneeded changes can become confusing and I am surprised that Apple is taking this topic so lightly. Regarding the custom login icons that people may use, imposing the login background image often makes the end result really ugly. It is time to work again with John Ivy!
