How to see emergency alerts on iPhone

I’m using iPhoneXR with iOS 14.2 and there was a National Weather Service msg warning of a Tornado in my area. My wife has an iPhoneSE running iOS 14.1 and it received the National Weather Service tornado warning msgs (there was two). I turned all three alerts off/on at the bottom of the Settings/Notifications setting of the iPhone. Is anyone else seeing this?

and to boot this upload rotated my portrait photo which is orobsbly

Thanks for the screenshot. However, we're still having a bit of trouble understanding the issue you're having. If alerts are toggled on, everything seems to be working as expected.

Let us know some more details of the behavior you're expecting and we'll continue from there.

Can you clarify the issue a bit further? For example do you have Emergency Alerts toggled off under Settings > Notifications?

It was my wife’s iPhone SE (the original pic was the alert on her iPhone) was running iOS 14.1 that did receive the emergency alert...my iPhoneXR was running iOS 14.2 and DID NOT receive the Emergency Alert despite the alert settings being ON...makes sense?
