how can I transfer a photo from my android phone to my MAC
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15
You should be able to import them via USB as you do with any digital camera.

I have tried that and it does not work.
In what way does it not work? Refusal to import? Imports but looks wrong? Crashes? Cable doesn't fit? Catches fire?
