Numbers: Update stock values in spreadsheet

I use the stock function in Apple Numbers to get the latest stock prices.

Sometimes, however, I notice that the prices displayed are a few hours old.

Is there any way to force the spreadsheet to get the current prices?

Environment:

Mac OSX 10.14.6

Numbers 10.1

Financial functions on current version of Numbers? What happened to the Functions such as PV, FV, amortizing schedules, etc that used to be on the iMac version of Numbers? I haven't done much work requiring financial functions the past year or so but now that I want to update some older spreadsheets I did (using Numbers) a couple of years ago, all Numbers wants to offer me are simple arithmatic fiunctions like add, average, subtract and a couple others. My iMac is up to date with latest operating system version 13.4.1. What's going on? Am I the last to learn that Apple numbers has been dumbed down beyond belief?

Numbers changing fields to "0" Hello! OS 10.14.6: I have a basic spreadsheet in Numbers that I am using for securities trading records, with various dates, words and dollar amounts in different fields. However, when I enter an assortment of dates, such as "12/19,21,22", as soon as I leave the field, Numbers changes it to just a "0." This is incredibly frustrating. (Only way around it is to add the word "or" or "and" between any of the numbers, but that takes up more room/time than necessary.) What am I doing wrong and/or how can I get around this? Mac Numbers Stock Price for "UB=F" and "ZB=F" Hi Team, I use Mac Numbers to analyse my US stock investment. It runs well just except one issue I found recently. The function of Stock can return key info, such as price, change etc, but it doesn't work for "UB=F". I also tested similar product "ZB=F" and it works well and retrieved the price correctly. Both are from Yahoo Finance in terms of Symbol and Price info. I guess there must be some issue? Hope experts can help me. I need retrieve Price, Change etc basic info from UB=F Thanks in advance

The Stock function gets its stock quotes from Yahoo! finance.

Unless there has been a recent change in the agreement between Apple and Yahoo!, the ;freshest' prince provided by Yahoo! is the 'previous day's close.
