Big Sur Screen Saver Sporadic

So... 13 of the screen savers from Big Sur work fine while 6 of them are not so. Of the six, the most common issue is that they begin fine and then simply stop after 4 or 5 image changes. Already spoke with Apple support about it and after nearly an hour (restart, unplug and restart, save reboot, reboot under a new user, etc.) now they want me to reinstall the system software. Seriously? That's a lot of work for a 69 year old geezer who doesn't use backup. After all, if 13 screensavers work wouldn't it seem that my computer works with their screensaver and that the problem is with the other 6 of their new screensavers that don't work?

So if anyone has advice I'd sure like to not have to save all my stuff to hard drives, re-download Photoshop, plug ins, other software packages and stuff just to find that, yup, that's not the answer either.

13 screensavers work fine.  6 don’t.

Floating: Floats, but tends to show a lot of the same pictures several times before showing the entire group.

Flip-up: First time showed 15 photos then stopped.  Second time showed 5 then stopped.

Reflections: Works fine with no repeats.

Origami: Fine

Shifting Tiles: Shifted 4 new images, then stopped.  When moving the mouse to sign in, it would shift in another image and stop again.

Sliding Panels: Slid in two new images then stopped.  Tried a second time and it slid in one new image and stopped.

Photo Mobile: Fine

Holiday Mobile: Fine

Photo Wall: Fine

Vintage Prints: Fine

Ken Burns: Fine

Classic: Shows 5 images and stops

Drift: Fine

Flurry: Fine

Arabesque: Fine

Shell: Fine

Message: Fine

Album Artwork: Fine
