Old $ balance?

It has been a while (years) since I have purchased music on The old ITunes app but I did have a balance of approx 35$ that I did not use previously from an apple gift card...what happened to that money please? Thanks,

Log into the Apple ID you were using at that time. Your balance should still be there, unless it was getting spent on a subscription.
