Since updating to Big Sur, my email/text notifications appear on the wrong screen. I work with my laptop closed and connected to a dual monitor setup. I tried making sure the arrangement is set correctly, it is. Everything is the same as it was before the update but the notifications appear on my "second" monitor. please help.

I had the same problem and it looks like I've solved it. I found out that when you click on the date and time in the top-right it activates Notification Center. Once I clicked the clock (on my primary Display) to activate Notification Center and made some edits, all other notifications started showing up on the correct display. Yay.
Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but the UX is a bit clunky in terms of discoverability.
I also discovered that if you Option+Click the clock it's a quick shortcut to activate Do Not Disturb mode. Neat.
