I'm having. the same issues with the pop up random messages. They occur mostly when first opening phone in morning. About 15 or so pop ups. Very annoying. happening on only my phone, not computer or iPad. I have updated, deleted and reinstalled all email accounts. Double checked all settings on iPad to iPhone...Called Apple Care four times, No resolve. Calling fifth time now. keeps you posted. GRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrr!!!!
Have had this issue for awhile (well before getting my iPhone 12 Pro Max). Mine is related to an aol email that I sync. AOL sent an email out letting people know they would need to choose a different option for getting their email (one being to use the aol app versus iOS mail app) so that might explain why the issue happens for me. Not sure what mail you’re having issues with but you may be in a similar boat which if that’s the case it’s not so much an Apple issue as it is an email provider issue.
