my smart keyboard for ipad is not working

My smart keyboard doesn't work, it says that does not recognize my device.

My one year warranty is gone and i have an expensive cover that doesn't work, it has the same problems that other smartcovers have, and it seems that there is a lot of people that after 12 months start having the same issues.

There is some people on youtube trying to solve...

Is apple going to recognize that this is a conceptual and build problem?
