How do you delete apps?

My daughters phone is not allowing her to delete apps. We tried the normal way and all parental controls are turned off. We restarted her phone and still can’t delete any apps.

Can I stop apps being deleted? My daughter has an ipad (she's only 6) but keeps deleting everything. She has some additional needs so she can't always help it, I've told her not to but she forgets or doesn't realise they're gone. She then gets upset because I can't get them back or they take ages to download. She's deleted everything apart from basics on her ipad twice already today, so I really need to stop her deleting them. Is there a way to lock the apps to stop it? Thanks

Why can’t I delete my apps. My parents put the parental controls off so My iPhone isn’t letting me delete any apps to clear my storage. I’ve tried everything. My mother turn off parental controls so I can delete my apps and it still isn’t working. Please help

can’t delete apps?? My wife’s IPhone is an iPhone 8 just like mine but hers will not let her delete apps. I know how to do it as my iPhone 8 can. Is there a way to turn this function off and on?

Possibly due to a restriction on deleting apps; see information in: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304#prevent-purchases
