Can I stop apps being deleted?

My daughter has an ipad (she's only 6) but keeps deleting everything. She has some additional needs so she can't always help it, I've told her not to but she forgets or doesn't realise they're gone. She then gets upset because I can't get them back or they take ages to download.

She's deleted everything apart from basics on her ipad twice already today, so I really need to stop her deleting them. Is there a way to lock the apps to stop it?
