I'm trying to figure out if I have FCP or FCPX. I just got a new MacBook Pro with the Education bundle. I thought the Apple Rep advised Final Cut Pro was the most current FCPX.

If the application came preinstalled open it and go the FCP menu to About. The splash screen should say Final Cut Pro version 10.5. If there’s an X go to the App Store to update it. Also in the FCP menu download additional content.
