Poor screen quality iPhone 12 pro max

Is my phone Faulty?

I have read that lots of people are having trouble with screen quality on this phone (iPhone 12 series).

Yellow tint on screen (looks pink in photo). Image not sharp.

I have spent the entire day changing settings to try to fix the lighting but not matter what I do I cannot get the white to be white.

It is however improved through colour filters, but it’s not the settings. I have done it all!

The brightness is also poor. It needs to stay at 100% or it’s too dark to see.

My 6s I have works better than this one.

I hate this iPhone 12 pro max!

Are they all like this or should I ask for a replacement?

Please remove the screen guard that you have installed.

I agree 100%. I don't understand why everyone says these OLED screens are good. They are way too dark and when not viewed from straight ahead they have awful color distortion. Yes, under the bright lights in the store they seem O.K., but are terrible everywhere else. I'm returning mine and being forced to stick with the LCD on the 11. It's disappointing. I wanted the better camera and larger screen size of the 12 Pro Max. Not sure what I will do when they stop making LCDs.

What did you wind up doing? I just got the 12 Pro Max yesterday and the screen’s white balance is off (too yellow) and it is t as sharp as my XR.

It was definitely like this before I put the screen protector on.

The screen protector is EFM TT Sapphire + Antimicrobial Dual Install Screen Armour iPhone 12 Pro Max - Clear.

A perfectly suitable screen protector.

I went into the Apple store to show them but under the fluorescent lights in the shop the screens looked similar so they were unable to help. They did say it could be due to the new oled screen and said to make sure True Tone was turned off. It didn’t help.

My screen also looks blue when viewed from an angle.
