Logic Pro - 'Logic Pro X requires an internet connection to download content. Please check your connection'

For a long time I've used Logic Pro X on an external HD as I didn't have enough room on my mac's internal drive. I now want to use it on an iMac I've refurbished.

I copied Logic Pro X across to the iMac, but when I tried to open it, it starts to download the basic content pack, which is 1.8GB. When it gets to around 1.3 - 1.5GB, it stops and says 'Logic Pro X requires an internet connection to download content. Please check your connection'.

It's a mid-2011 iMac on High Sierra.

I'm on an unfiltered home network with no firewall or anything. I was previously able to put logic X on my MacBook Pro with no issues, on this same network. I've also tried both wifi and wireless connections, and extending the period of time before the mac goes to sleep.

I've been googling and the main advice seems to be 'download the components separately' but I don't get an option to do that.

Anyone able to help?

Hi, I've restarted so many times and still the same. Also tried leaving it a few days in case it was a server glitch. There's no firewall or antivirus on the network AFAIK, all anti-virus etc is on our Windows devices. I've already tried a direct wired connection to the router and no luck unfortunately.

Any further help would be appreciated!
