Battery Health

I bought my iPhone SE 2020 in June, and now my battery health is at 91%. I never charge it overnight and I try not to let it charge until 100%. I don't heavily game either. What am I doing wrong? Is this normal?

iPhone SE, iOS 14

Batteries are consumable items. The battery health will drop as you use the device.

iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support goes over some information regarding your battery health, and how your battery chemically ages. From the information you provided, it doesn’t seem that there’s anything abnormal occurring with your battery. Using the information in the article provided, you can view the alerts you might see if there’s a problem with your battery, under “Battery health degraded” and “Important Battery Message”.

That being said, you can maximize the performance of your battery using the steps found here: Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple
