iphone SE (2nd gen) battery health

I’ve have my SE since mid to late 2020, about 3 years now. My battery health is at 78%. Is that normal? I’m not really sure… I’m not planning on getting a new phone until probably next year.

I’ve been changing some things I do to hopefully make it last a bit longer.

1) Don’t let it get below 20%

2) Don’t let it be on charger overnight

Will these things help? I don’t see a point in getting a new battery if i’ll get a new phone eventually.

You can still use a device with a lower health percentage than 80% but for optimal usage you may wish to consider having it changed when it reaches 80% battery health.

Go to this web site for information about how to request battery service for your iPhone: iPhone Battery Repair & Replacement - Apple Support

For cost and availability, enter your model information in the "Get an estimate" box at the bottom. (I will let you do this since the answer will depend upon the country where you are located.)

For instructions on how to get your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ready for service click here --> Get your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ready for service - Apple Support

In the end it is up to you. If you don't mind charging it more frequently or don't make much use of it on a daily basis you can continue to use it as it is.
