iphone Pro Max 12: The volume is all the way up but theres barely any sound for messages and incoming calls. What is up with this ?

From reading your post, it's understood the volume on your notifications is low when compared to other sounds. We'd be glad to help. Check your settings for volume and adjust if needed: Adjust the volume on iPhone Try adjusting Change with Buttons to see if that has any effect.

You may also want to see if Attention Awareness Features is on. This feature being on will lower the volume of some alerts. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Attention Awareness Features.

Very low volume on notifications! I’ve done all the steps and still I miss all text messages and alerts! Very frustrating!

I have a pro 12 Max and have the same problem I’ve tried everything and I still can’t hear incoming calls I have a default set to my speaker

I just got the 12 pro max. I cannot hear while using the phone. Even if the volume is all the way up, I can barely hear. Anyone else having this issue?

Same issue here. Sooooo irritating! I thought it was my case but nope. I can't find a fix and I have been searching all morning.

There is a silent mode switch on the left side of the phone. It may be switched on by accident. That was the issue for me.

I just resolved my issues with the “no sound” and “No volume Control” problem. In Settings go to “Notifications” and turn all settings “On,” Sound, Banners and Badges. Good luck.
