Will Microsoft Remote Desktop work on M1 Macbook Pro?

Yes, it works correctly with the MacBook Pro (13", M1, 2020) MacOS Big Sur. The speed is good, like my old 2012 MacBook Pro.

But it only works only with the Microsoft Remote Desktop Version 10.4.1, not with the actual version 10.5. But i get this error also with my old Mac. There was always the error "unable to connect". dont know why. It's a bug.

So i have to 1) restore the old version by using time machine backup and 2) deactivate the automatic install option in the settings.

That link is for the windows RDP client, not Macos.

And yes, RDP to windows from an M1 machine is terribly laggy (tried on my Mini and Air). The issue seems to be with the Microsoft RDP client software on M1. I suspect it'll be fixed once they release a native version for M1.

I works, I have connected to a remote Windows 10 computer from a Mac mini M1. No lagging issues at all BUT the text and graphics of the remote computer is very blurry, the fonts seem fuzzy. I dont get that on my older Intel based MacBook Pro or my Win10 PC. Not sure how to solve this, anyone else seeing that?

Just tried this out, it loaded up and it works but runs very slow for some reason. Was not really usable with how much lag there was.
