Continuity: one-way call sharing between two iPhones

If you have two iPhones, is there a way to set up one-way call sharing? Looking for this result:

  • A call to phone A will ring A AND B,
  • but a call to phone B will ONLY ring B.

So far, I've only been able to get all or nothing: both ring all the time, or only the phone being called rings. The reason I'd like to set this up is because I don't always have my work phone with me and I'd like my personal phone to ring when I get a call to that number. But there's no reason for my work phone to ring (making me think it's important) when I get a personal call.

Hello SuperC23,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It's understandable to want the phone to work that way. We'll explain.

It wouldn't be possible to do this through the iPhone itself using Continuity or Call Forwarding, but you can check with the carrier to see if it's possible in conjunction with Call Forwarding.

Enjoy.
