There is no longer a short cut for deleting message conversations. Why?

Is there a one click shortcut to delete them?

In the pop-up dialog box, using the Terminal App, is there a way to change the default from CANCEL to DELETE?

Control (right) - click on the conversation and select "Delete Conversation" from the contextual menu:
