Uso EpocCamPro. Da qualche giorno quando apro l'app non riesco più a connettermi con la videocamera del mio I phone ed usarla come videocamera del Mac al posto ** quella integrata, in particolare per programmi come Zoom o QuickTime Player. E' perchè ho fatto l'aggiornamento a Big Sur???

I have the same issue on my Macbook Pro.
Epoccam used to work great both tethered and over bluetooth.
Since the update to Big Sur it's not working in QuickTime as a video capture device. It is available as a microphone however.
Performance in zoom is spotty as well.
I use this with my students both for making videos and for showing my real desktop while in Zoom classrooms.
This is kind of a big deal for me.

I have EpocCam Pro, it has always worked perfectly with programmes such as Zoom or QuickTime. But since i have downloaded the Big Sur upgrade, Epoccam has stopped working and it isn't recognized anymore as a usable camera by those programmes.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem and what might cause it? Can it be Big Sur stopping EpocCam from working?
Also, does anybody know other apps that I can use beside epoccam?

You should be in touch with the developers of the EpocCam Pro product to see if they have updates available that allow you to use their product with Big Sur. Here is their link for support:

They do indicate their product is fully compatible with Big Sur so you may have some other problems. Please answer the question below:
By chance do you have any third party antivirus, cleaning or any other "maintenance" apps installed on your iMac?
