Remove Big Sur download after failed installation attempt

I attempted to install Big Sur on my MacBook Pro 128 gig only to find out (after downloading the 12 gig install) that I now need an additional 36 or so gigs to actually install it. There is no possible way to free up that much space on my machine. But now the Sig Sur installation or whatever is taking up 12 gig of space of my hard drive space which puts me at only 7 gigs free (was 19 before download.) Is there a way to remove it and get my space back since I can't install it?
