Upgraded to iPhone 12 Pro Max, now the media knob in 2019 Mercedes won't work. Checked my prior phone, iPhone XS Max, which had worked fine with the carplay, but is now upgraded to ios14 and it exhibits the same behavior. The knob works fine with phone disconnected, so its not the knob. Also, phone works fine with CarPlay if the car has touchscreen controls. Anyone have a fix for this, or just wait for 14.3 and hope?
I’m having this issue too from a 2019 Mercedes Benz GLC that uses the COMAND circle knob, it doesn’t allow me to press on it to “choose/enter.” I think the issue lies with the iOS 14 update.
I have the same issue it works with my sons iPhone 10 but no longer works with my iPhone 11 or my daughter’s SE but they work in her far as this has a touch screen
