Apple Watch Coverage in a different country than the one where it was purchased

I live in Panama City, Panama but I recently purchased an Apple Watch Series 6 in US. I’m considering to get the AppleCare since it covers accidental damages and I do sports. However I’m not sure if Apple Care has coverage here. My decision relies on this information. Can you please confirm me if AppleCare covers Panama City, Panama?
