The article that you referenced (and it was removed for whatever reason) was a very targeted attack that would apply only if the hackers compromised the Apple ID and had the phone in their possession or nearby/accessible.. and... it was fixed by Apple, all you have to do is keep your phone up to date.
You're not going to get much help here unless you can explain what you are seeing. We see people come here multiple times a day claiming that they have a virus, only to find that it's spam/phishing.. or their Apple ID was compromised

Any More Info?:
What makes you think this? More information would help.
Use a New Phone Source:
You could always consider just getting a new phone, and getting it from none other than Apple. Perhaps a landline is the way to go about this, as long as you have some one to contact when and where need be (i.e. family member)?
Consider Modifying your Credentials:
Most ransomware messages are phishing scams. The senders hope to panic you into sending them money, just like the ones that send you fake details of of things you're supposed to have bought hope to panic you into disclosing ID's and passwords.
There's no virus that can run on a non-jailbroken iPhone.
What makes you think you have one?
Believe me there is....And my phone has been compromised...My phone is not jail broken...
Sorry, I don't believe you.
Maybe your online activities are compromised, but not your iPhone if it's not jailbroken.
