Blocked contact iOS 14.2

Ensuring contacts are blocked to prevent calls, messages, emails, and FaceTime calls from being received is a great feature, and it's important to work as expected. iMessage allows individuals to send and receive messages using their phone number associated to their Apple ID, and their Apple ID username. When blocking the contact or individual did you follow the steps outlined in Block a phone number, contact, or email? If not, please try those steps. Also, make sure that all relevant contact information has been blocked as well.

I am having this same issue. I need this resolved ASAP. What’s the point of having a blocking feature if the numbers aren’t actually being blocked. This happens for both iPhone and android users. I block them and still get their phone calls and text messages. Does anyone know why this is happening?
