Is it normal that my iPad Mini 5 is fully charged after 1 hour and 30 minutes?

I’ve only had this iPad mini for over a year now and i don’t remember the past charging time but i searched that charging an iPad Mini should take 5 to 7 hours to fully charge but mine takes less. Is that normal?

Im using a 10w USB Power Adapter (The adapter that my iPad Mini 5 came with) and i dont use my iPad while charging often, like once or twice every 2 weeks

Good evening biboy210,

It sounds like you have a question about the amount of time it takes to charge your iPad mini. The information you found on the internet regarding "5 to 7 hours" to fully charge an iPad mini is incorrect.

The resources below will help you address this issue:

Charge and monitor the iPad battery - iPad User Guide

Charge your iPhone with an iPad or Mac notebook power adapter

"You can use Apple 10W and 12W USB power adapters to charge your iPad, iPhone, iPod, Apple Watch, and other Apple accessories, like AirPods and Siri Remote. Just connect your device to the power adapter with the USB to Lightning cable, 30-pin to USB cable, or Apple Watch charger that came with your device.

Some USB-C Power Adapters and the Apple USB-C to Lightning cable are fast-charge compatible with certain iPhone and iPad models."

Take care.
