system keeps filling up macbook

Hi there

No matter what my wife deletes from her late model MacBook, Systems keeps filling up- to the point where the machine is grinding to a halt. Systems is now, inexplicably, showing 100 odd gig. Any ideas?

"System Data" huge filling up disk space I'm running the latest MacOS Monterey on a M1 Air and checked my disk space and noticed that the System Data is standing at 115GB and can't seem to figure out what it is, even booted into Safe mode and could not figure out. Any Ideas?

laptop storage suddenly full I'm working with a 2015 MacBook growth 1TB of storage and runningBig Sur (11.7.7). I fired up the laptop several days ago to a message that my storage was almost full. This surprised asI have not added anything new. All I can determine is there is a group of "other" that occupies most of my storage. I would like to know how this happens and what I can do to clean out the "other" and get my machine back. Thank you.
