citrix workspace

Hi all,

since upgrading to Big Sur Citrix Workspace app (Version: 20.10.0.16 (2010)) crashes consistently on my late 2015 iMac . All software is up to date. According to Citrix Workspace is compatible with Big Sur. Etrecheck does not find anything out of the ordinary. I can post the crash report if that's useful.

Did anybody else encounter this and if so how did you fix it (if at all)? Any help would be very very very much appreciated since I cannot work from my Mac anymore and have to use a tiny Windows laptop.

best regards,

Udo

fixed thanks to someone who had the same problem and posted it on Citrix forum:

Ok, I found something that works for me. Not sure it will work for everyone. The crash logs indicated that ctxusbd crashed. I went to the path where that daemon is '/library/Application Support/Citrix Receiver/', and noticed a config file called usb.conf. I renamed it usb.conf.old and everything started working. It did survive reboots / restarts. The app did not recreate that file. Good luck to all with this issue!
