Name & Appearance in Reminders

iPhone 11, iOS 14.2

Had to create all my Reminders again. Now I want to customize the lists with emojis. I open one of the lists, tap on the ellipsis (•••) in the upper right, select Name & Appearance. That window opens up but the only thing I can do is either change the name or color of the list. There is no option to do anything else, like add an emoji. Is anyone else experiencing this problem ?

Hello maryannfromaustin,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that you are unable to add emojis to your Reminders. When you tap the ellipsis in the upper right corner and then tap Name & Appearance should be presented with colors to choose from along with icons and the Emoji button with a smiling Emoji on it. If you are not seeing the Emoji button, make sure the Reminder list you are trying to edit is an iCloud Reminder list and not one that may be from another email address you are also using for Reminders.

Tap Settings then Reminders. Then tap Accounts. Check each account listed and see if any other accounts have Reminders enabled. If so, you will need to make sure that when creating a Reminder it is an iCloud Reminder and not a reminder under the other email account.
