Group contacts problem
After updating to iOS 14.2, my group contacts are still listed under groups in contacts, but when I compose an email and try to use a group, it says there are no members.

It's a bug in iOS 14.2 and iPad OS 14.2. Apple is working on a fix.
I agree it's a problem with 14.2 as I have used this facility for years in the iPhone Mail app and also on my Mac's. I've been in contact with Apple Support for two hours this afternoon and they told me to upgrade my MacBook Pro to Big Sur, which I haven't done as I'm convinced the problem is with the phone and 14.2.
Please use third party apps for creating and sending email to a group.
You may select individual contacts and keep adding one by one and then send Message / email. You can later name this group for future use for Messages and not for email.
Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
I use a third party app to create groups, but until this most recent update, I could just type in the group name in an email, and the group would show up.
This feature still works on my iPad, so it is something apple did with the most recent iOS update for iPhones that is causing the problem.
