Beats Flex "Connection failed" on macOS

My Beats Flex had been working for a couple weeks with my work laptop, 2020 MBAir w/Catalina 10.15.7. Paired right away out of the box. At some point they quit connecting and I reset them. Now they refuse to connect again. I can see them and when I hit Connect, I get the spinner in the BT dialog followed by "Connected". The spinner keeps spinning and then eventually gives a warning icon with "Connection failed".

These same Beats Flex will connect fine to my iPhone 11 Pro and my personal 2016 MacBook Pro. I've got a couple errors in the Console around the same time, not sure if they're related:

error 12:50:02.951924-0500 kernel Sandbox: bluetoothd(161) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.server.bluetooth
error 12:50:06.121131-0500 bluetoothd Apple80211Get(APPLE80211_IOC_BTCOEX_MODE) returned error -3903

Any ideas? I bought these specifically for work use and the only device they won't work with is my work computer. And they had been working previously!
