Can't pair Apple Watch with iPhone

Getting an internet connection issue when trying to pair my watch but I’m connected to the internet I am trying to set up my Apple Watch with my new phone and when I go to pair it, it says it can’t due to not being connected to the internet, but my phone is connected to the internet and there is no way for me to connect the watch.

Why can’t I connect my Apple Watch Im trying to connect my Apple Watch to my phone, but I haven’t used it for a while. When I try to reconnect it while it is on the charger it tells me I can’t because I’m not connected to the internet when I am. It just keeps making me press “try again.”
