USB-C port on MacBook as digital audio out
Hi I have a MacBook (retina 12 inch. 2017) I want to play music from BBC sounds playing on my laptop on my hi-fi. How do this using the USB-C port?

Most HiFis have either Bluetooth or WiFi capability. Airplay supports over WiFi.
You also have adapters that support bluetooth to an RCA dongle from Logitech.
And there are USB-C to RCA adapters too. Just make sure the adapter you get has a PD Power pass through for your power adapter.
