Iphone 12 pro magnet and stick on wallet for case

I have an Iphone 12 pro and will be buying a regular case for it, like a OtterBox Symmetry. Will I be able to stick on my 3M wallet for my credit cards or will the magnet be too strong that could potentially damage/erase the magnetic strip on credit cards?

I know they said using the Magsafe could damage cards, but wondering if it would go through a regular case.

If using a third-party case like OtterBox, you will likely be using the lightning cable to charge, right?

This article has some info about how to protect your cards and mentions: How to use your MagSafe Charger with iPhone 12 models - Apple Support

"Don't place credit cards, security badges, passports, or key fobs between your iPhone and MagSafe Charger, because this might damage magnetic strips or RFID chips in those items.
If you have a case that holds any of these sensitive items, remove them before charging or make sure that they aren’t between the back of your device and the charger.
If your iPhone is connected to both a MagSafe Charger and power via a Lightning port, your iPhone will charge via the Lightning connector."
