Apple Watch “What’s my elevation” stopped working

I have an iPhone 12 Pro (iOS 14.2) and Watch S6 (WatchOS 7.1).

On a recent visit to Yosemite Valley, I asked Siri on my watch, “Hey Siri, what’s my elevation”. She responded correctly.

Since leaving there, I’ve been unable to get it to work. I haven’t knowingly changed anything on the watch or my phone that might be related to this. Is there a known issue with this, or is there something I can check to resolve it? I live in the Sierra foothills and elevation something of great interest to me. Being able to ask Siri on my Watch is a feature I’ll use often (if it works).

Below are images showing the results in Yosemite Valley, followed by what it looks like elsewhere. It’s like she forgot how to check the elevation. I tried it again just now and her response was, “interesting question”.
