Voicemail notification keeps popping up

For the past month the voicemail notification will start popping up randomly throughout the day. Just in the last 10 minutes it's popped up over 6 times and it's becoming really annoying. I've tried turning off the badges notification and turning it back on, I've tried restarting the phone but nothing is working. I've also checked my voicemail and I have no new messages, not even old ones.

Can someone help me with this, please.

Days later, the ‘Phone’ app still has a red ‘1’ badge on it and I keep getting persistent notifications as banners and on my Lock Screen, despite me not having any voicemail messages. I have tried calling my voicemail and it just says ‘you have no new messages.’ I have tried turning my phone off and on again several times. I have tried turning off ‘badges’ for the ‘Phone’ app, turning the iphone off, then turning the iPhone back on again and turning the Badge notification back on again and it reappears. Please can anyone offer any alternative suggestions as it’s driving me crazy. Thank you.

Can't clear voicemail notification I have a notification badge on the phone app and when tap in, red dot on the voicemail section but there are no voicemails. I have listened to all voicemails, deleted them all. I have read a previous question on it and the solution: Settings > Notifications > Phone and turn off Badges. Restart your iPhone and turn Badges back on in the Notification settings and it does not help. I am now on iOS16, all up to date. Please help, this badge is annoying! LOL thanks!

non-stop voicemail notification but no new voicemail Hi Since yesterday my phone (11) has started to send constant voicemail notifications. The iOS is up to date. I have turned it on and off again. I have turned off badges in settings for phone then turned phone off. Any ideas?
