Safari on iOS thinks I am in france

Hi,

For a few weeks now sites in Safari, for some reasons, think I am in France. I get sites in French (for example - DJI site thinks I am in France. in AliExpress I get the French site etc....

In my international settings (languages / time zones etc...) everything is set correctly (languages are Hebrew + English, iPhone language is English, no other keyboards) and time zone is Jerusalem.

What will make it think I am in France? how do I reset it?!

Thanks!

Hello rongros,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that websites brought up using Safari are in French. As you have confirmed that the language and time zone are correct on your Mac, this could be caused by the location of your internet service provider. Does this happen with every Wi-Fi or internet connection you have used? If not, that would confirm it is due to the location of the internet service provider. You will need to contact your internet service provider for assistance with this issue.

Best Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help!

well it doesn't happen in every site, but it happened in more than one site, one of them is the DJI site which I keep getting in French (now they started sending me emails in French because when I subscribed they though I am in France).

It's very hard for me to say if it happened on a specific Wifi or not, because it is kind of random. I can say that it happened to me at home a few days ago, and they I went straight to google and typed "where am I", and got the correct place from the browser. not sure if it helps or not, I don't think it's a provider issue.

If I am the only one who experienced it, I will try to find a more repeatable way to make it happen and come back with some data....
