Is it possible to connect a superdrive to an apple tv hd?

An apple TV HD has a usb port. Can it be used to connect hard drives and other devices?

short answer is no. you cannot connect usb hd nor usb stick to apple tv.

usb there is used for maintenance - i.e. to connect it to computer with itunes and reset it, that's the only purpose
