Hi! Great news if you haven't already replaced your RX560 (I've got that one too). Drivers are now available. Randomly decided to have another look this morning and they were added yesterday. :)

printer drivers are the printer manufacturers responsibility. Apple does not develop them. I might recommend doing

Please do the following in this

order:

·Uninstall all Epson software, put in the Trash and empty the Trash.

·Please reset the printing system per Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem

·Next, follow the instructions in Adding a printer

This printer is at least 13 years old. The oldest article I can find discussing it, is from 2007. Apple does not create drivers for any printers, including Epson. It’s the responsibility of the printer manufacturers to support their products and release drivers in a timely manner.

Apple offers access to product manufacturers early access through their Developers program. This program is designed to help manufacturers have drivers etc ready for consumers when Apple releases their new Operating Systems.

The fact that Epson does not have new drivers ready for the printer may indicate it has reached the end of its life on its modern operating systems. Epson may release new drivers for the OS within the next few months. But they may not. In my experience, the support personnel have no knowledge of future products, services etc.

If you have immediate needs to print, I’d start shopping more current/modern prints. The plus side is they have become much more economical on a per print basis over the last few years.
